About Me
Hi!
My name is Colin, I'm 28 years old, teach elementary school full-time in San Diego, play saxophone semi-professionally, surf daily, and love traveling. I spent my Spring Break driving from Encinitas, CA to the tip of Baja Sur and back (2500 miles, round trip), and plan to spend a few weeks driving from my home in La Jolla, CA, as far as the Canadian Border on the West Coast, and back. I'll have a few family members to visit along the way, but really am embarking with no concrete plans or destination. That's part of the fun right? Should you feel so inclined, I would love a place to sleep and perhaps a hot shower along the way. I am respectful, laid back, and an all around cool guy to hang out with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For my upcoming road trip up the West Coast of the US, I plan on bringing a tent when I find a place to camp, or simply sleeping in my car. I'd love to meet some new friends along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a degree in Jazz Saxophone, and thus am a big jazz fan. I'm also a huge Deadhead, and love good music in general, from all around the world. This upcoming trip will be kind of my version of "On the Road", which of course is a must-read for any adventurer
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This past Spring Break, I drove from San Diego to the tip of Baja Sur (Cabo Pulmo) and back. It was life changing, and I've since been bit by the travel bug.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach saxophone lessons and surf lesson when back home. Teach me your ways, local spots, and lifestyles!
