Overview
About Me
I'm the kind of girl that thinks people and experiences are more important than owning fancy stuff and getting enough sleep. I quit my boring job as a web developer to write a book, walk dogs, play in marching bands, and produce burlesque shows. I prefer riding my bike, walking, and taking the bus over driving my truck (but I do love my truck a lot). I will listen to almost any music with horns (especially saxophones!), but I also love Madonna, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Hall & Oates, the song Call Me Maybe, and some good old poppy punk rock. I love roller skating and killing zombies.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is funny. Laugh at it. A lot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd love to offer my couch or floor to interesting people and help them have interesting experiences in my interesting part of the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I probably only stay at my own house 3 or 4 nights a week. The rest of the time I'm falling asleep on other people's couches, floors, lawns, dogs, etc. Does that count?
Interests
Here's my laundry list of interests: roller skating, punk music, jazz music, marching bands, Lady Gaga, Madonna, writing, erotica, geeky computer stuff, dogs and cats, funky hair, biking, vegetarian cooking, burlesque, vintage travel trailers

Music, Movies, and Books
I have watched Superbad about 4 dozen times, but A Million Ways To Die In The West is creeping up on that record. And I'll watch ANY horror movie I can get my hands on.
Much of the music I listen to is instrumental funk and marching band music such as March Fourth or Too Many Zoos. I adore Madonna and Lady Gaga. A lot. But I also listen to a lot of that poppy punk rock that 14 year olds are so fond of like Green Day, New Found Glory, MXPX. I listen to a lot of 80s music as research for my musical comedy duo.
I read a lot of erotica and biographies, but I'd have to say my favorite author is Clive Barker. He's kinda twisted, and I love that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've ever done, and continue to do each year, is go to Burning Man. And now that I work for the event, it's even better. My experiences there have been indescribable, but if you're interested I'll do my best to tell you all about them.
