Overview
About Me
I've moved to Kessel-Lo 2 years ago, which is a family oriented area of Leuven. I co-parent and have my children every 2 weeks. When they are not with me, I can easily host. When they are around, I have a couch available, but less time to spend with travelers.
I'm a very impulsive, energetic (most of the time) girl who got bitten by the travelbug about 15 years ago. After traveling and studying, I have settled down in Belgium, got 2 beautiful children and didn't leave Europe for over 5 years.
But the traveling and exploring is still running through my veins and now that I have the opportunity to do so again, I hope to be a more active member on Couchsurfing again.
PHILOSOPHY
I dance, therefore I am!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a couch to share and would be more than happy to host guests from allover the globe and hope to meet a lot of nice people that way. If I'm unable to host, I could give you practical information about the region, public transport, things to see,...
I have had some wonderful Couchsurfing experiences myself and would like to share the philosophy and spirit of sharing with other travelers. I find it a truly enriching experience.
Interests
Singing and dancing always make me happy, a little warning though: I prefer to dance to latin beats or 80's pop! Recently I picked up my saxophone again and hope to do more of that in the future.
Of course I'm a huge fan of travelling, I've lived/studied/worked in China for 2 years.
I like to read, watch movies, eat and sleep.
If that sounds rather passive, don't worry: I also like sports, like fitness, swimming, dancing, running.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: 80's pop, latin, (easy) jazz, Mozart.
Movies: Mar Adentro, Monty Python and the holy grail, The Notebook, Hero,...
Books: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Rosie Dunn, everything Paulo Coelho
Whenever I get caught up in a book or a movie, I get so focused that it seems like the rest of the world doesn't exist anymore.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen and done many amazing things, but the hospitality I experienced from Angie and her family in the Philippines after I got robbed, has been the most amazing and humbling encounter of all, sofar...
For things I've done myself, the most amazing thing will always be giving birth and becoming a mother.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn to live here and now and enjoy every moment, without regrets about the past or worries about the future.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can usually provide a place to sleep on a sofabed, share information and a meal.
