About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Saya, I'm a Japanese woman living & working in the most beautiful place which is called "Iwanai". (Well, I know everyone has own opinion. haha)
I was traveling around the world over two years and now I'm back in Japan. I used to be a backpacker and traveled around the world for two years, always looked for somewhere to live.
Then I found this place. It's called "IWANAI" and there is the ocean, ski resort, farm, great culture & history and great SUSHI. What's more, people here are super nice. I'm totally in love with this town.
It takes two hours by bus from Sapporo which is the biggest city in Hokkaido. But if you are looking for somewhere to see authentic of Japan, it's definitely worth to come.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To speak English (it's countryside so there are not so many foreigners here.), and exchanging culture!
And also I met a lot of great people and helped me when I was traveling, so now it's my turn!

Every single day is special for me, Everything appeared beautiful for me.
But last year, I climbed Mt. Himalaya(Anapurna base camp). It was really hard, but that was absolutely amazing experience for me!
Teach, Learn, Share
Sometimes I make decision following my sixth sense and I have a strong belief in destiny which will lead me to meeting someone that is bound to come across.
Always be an honest person because I don't want to lie to myself, either.
