About Me

Recently left my Neuroscience degree unfinished in order to travel and pursue Marine Biology :), Currently working as a carer for the elderly to fund such goals! Indian origins but brought up in several different countries...big believer of porous borders & no flags..
Likes: Reading the last sentence of the books I read first, then commencing the book, Candles that smell like cinnamon, FOOD (of almost any/every sort), Sitting in coffee shops losing track of time.
Dislikes: Birds (Particularly seagulls) though I'm trying very hard to overcome this absurd phobia..
Just ask about whatever else you're interested in finding out about :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel myself and love the idea of travelling to people's homes to learn about them and their culture rather than experiencing it through hotel rooms and planned tour packages. I'm fairly new to travelling in this way though and would love to meet experienced travellers who could help restore my faith in humanity before I venture out into the so called 'big bad world' myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Anything and everything from classic rock, cheesy pop, classical Indian/Western.. whatever that may suit my mood at the time, always looking to update my music library.

Movies - I Origins, Up, Taare Zameen Par...anything that hits on some kind of an emotional level is just as preferred as any good light hearted comedy. You'd have to do some serious convincing to get me to watch a horror though..

Books - Game of Thrones series, Harry Potter series, Northern lights trilogy, Hunger Games.. the usual really.
