Overview
About Me
I think a long description about me would end in the word “world citizen”. Due to my German, Singhalese and Swedish descent, I am open to every culture and would love to learn more about as many as possible. Travel is an important part of my live, that’s why I have also chosen to work and study in this field. I would describe myself as pretty relaxed, uncomplicated, adventures and thoughtful. If there is a possible time frame to travel, I travel and occasionally I really enjoy having a couple of drinks with my friends. ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Besides the fact that couchsurfing drops your travel budget to an amazingly convenient level, it is just outstanding how this community developed and gives so many new possibilities. Getting to know locals from a country is, in my opinion, the best way to find out about the culture, even if it´s sometimes only a short period of time. It is great to be guided by a local through the city to explore the secret spots and share different experiences. Thats why I like to share it in my city and hope to get some of it back in some corners of the world. :)
"a place is only as good as the people you know in it"
Interests
My interests are widely spread but I would basically describe them gathered around the topic tourism. Everything, that is in any way connected to that, is within my spectrum of interest. Let it start with geography, languages & culture over local cuisine, beverages & music to even photography, watersports & different kinds of art. Just to name some :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
An amazing thing I have done was "walking" with 2 friends to a nearly undiscovered beatufull lagoon (Laguna Miramar) in Mexico´s Lacandon Jungle. The problem was, it got dark after an hour and the way was a 40 cm deep mud path through a dense jungle. So it took us about 4 hours in total darkness. But the final destination was breathtaking and totally worth the walk :D
Teach, Learn, Share
You wanna make Sushi? :)
I think the cuisine of a country is a great acces to the culture, so why don´t you teach me about some dishes and drinks! ;)
