ABOUT ME

I am from Chihuahua, Mexico, and I lived in El Paso, Texas for three years, in Brussels for 3 months, and now residing in the city of Bonn, Germany. I am a Graphic Communicator making her way in the Non-Profit sector. I have worked in social change and environmental communication, which brought me to this lovely German city. I like to travel, see what cities have to offer, but I definitively like to walk around, it is the best way to get up-close and personal with the city's heart <3
I love to collect little tokens with great design! Mostly prefer colored creations, but I think everywhere (from street art to a small cafe's napkin) you can find things are worth of admiring/collecting. My personal favorite is to get colorful and well-designed postcards from some of the cities I visit.

PHILOSOPHY

I am native from the city of Chihuahua, on the middle of the beautiful Mexican desert. My area is constantly struggling for water, and being overseas has helped me to see the importance of the vital liquid in the development of communities, not only resource-related and demographically, but also on the cultural formation of its people. Chihuahua is a land of warm and loyal people, struggling to get forward pass the violence and corruption it's experiencing. Coming from this background, I have found intensively liberating being in this side of the ocean, where people are friendly and trustworthy. They help out strangers, opening the doors of their homes and families! I am extremely grateful for the opportunity of being here, and have added a new value to the freedom of walking safely through the streets without constant fear!!! Oh, and the water! Yes, I am amazed by cities with rivers, canals, lakes...water, water, water!
