About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Travel as much as possible before age starts to slow us down

ABOUT US

We are fun loving , open minded and adventurous. We both absolutely love travelling, but it's gotten so expensive and not to mention we don't get enough vacation.

PHILOSOPHY

Never give up. Many of the great achievements of the world were accomplished by tired and discouraged men who kept on working :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything marvel is fun. Big fan of movies, especially thrillers. I love watching movies from other languages preferably Japanese, French, Korean and Spanish. Movies inspire us.
I listen to all sorts of music as long as its good to listen to. But if you ask me whats on my playlist, its mostly classic Rock n Roll. I am constantly hunting for music, language is no bar. If you happen to love music, I am interested in your playlist.
I don't get time for books anymore. but i did enjoy reading Ayn Rand, Dan Brown, Agatha Christi, Chetan Bhagat and many more.

My wife on the other hand is a book worm and is always reading something. She's someone who carries a book to a party and feel at home in a library.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me:
Before I became a slave to corporate work, I was a Civil Engineer, and I made concrete using Fly Ash. That was the geeky side of me. On the adventure side I drove 2500 miles in my crappy old Honda. Without any plan. I just felt like it and drove across Pennsylvania to Washington DC with my ex-girl friend. Also, I've already traveled to 33 states in US.
I have made amazing friends and love them to bits. Even ended up marrying one after 25 years of friendship. They are the best things to have happened to me since my parents.
Her:
She's your average book worm but stunningly beautiful and super smart.

Teach, Learn, Share

CouchSurfing helps make travel a little more affordable for fellow traveling enthusiast. As travelers ourselves we understand the expenses incurred in affording a place to stay. We've had to cancel our travel plans so many times because the stay was just too expensive. Friggin steal of a flight ticket but expensive hotels, what a bummer. Secondly we get to know interesting people that we learn so much from. Share stories, try new food or get recommendations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Me:
I thought about this for a bit and come to the sad realization that I am a Jack of all trades and expert at nothing. I am a decent listener if nothing else.
Her:
She can talk about books mostly fiction. She can dance (Indian classical, Spanish flamenco), data science expert, excellent with numbers.
