About Me

CURRENT MISSION

“If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it—then I can achieve it."

I have always enjoyed hosting and meeting people since high school. In order to co-exist and live together on this planet, we need to travel and meet others especially from different parts of this world to bridge the gab between cultures and learn to respect, appreciate and admire the other! After all, we're all humans and our differences is what's making this planet an interesting and fun place to live in :-)

If you can't travel to discover other cultures, let them come to you and then discover each other.

ABOUT ME

A happily married Moroccan/American citizen. I am a simple, humble and open minded person. I'm now back visiting my home town Fes and my family and exploring my own country.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat people as you would like to be treated.
The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My French friend introduced me to Couchsurfing in 2012, and since then, it's been a blast!!!
I've always enjoyed meeting and hosting visitors since I was in college. Learning about new cultures, ideas and stories is a passion that I treasure a lot.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've met great and fun people through couchsurfing and I hope I'll meet many more.... I've been a member of Servas organization that's similar to CouchSurfing. When I immigrated to the US for the first time, I was hosted for four years by a couple that I hosted years before in Morocco. It's an amazing story that I'll share with you when we meet :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone and regardless of their background or education, can help others learn something about life in general through either their own experiences or if they are naturally gifted. So, let's meet and share and teach each other.

I can teach you either Classic Arabic "Modern Standard Arabic" or Moroccan dialect, I know also, Egyptian, and Gulf dialects. I can also show you how to cook a few Moroccan dishes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Humility, stories of my trips, passion of life, street food, a guided tour of the old city and the best desert in the world and a whole lot more :-)
