About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Conquering the world. =]

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty laid back, easy going, and respectful. I really like to cook so I'd probably bring wine or some dish with me when I stay, or cook for you when you come to visit. Food is how people bond!
I love rock climbing, hiking, and jumping rope. I like to blast music and dance in public, and sing loudly while riding my bike, make things from scratch.

I live in The Sunshine Palace, named for its huge windows, large garden and warmth and coziness! It's a big house, with many places to stay, and many awesome travelling tenants. There's LZ, a free spirited photographer and extraordinary cook, Emmett, a rock climbing, ever-smiling dude who works at an organ bank, Lauren, a deeply sweet and kind yoga enthusiast, traveller, and life-lover, and Bryce, a reclusive, friendly software engineer. We have many animals in our house! Three snuggly and independent cats Copper, Crazy, and Olive. We also have two snakes: a desert kingsnake, Zipper, and a ball python, Trouser.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short, live well. I enjoy the moment I'm in and I've never been anything but happy since I've done that. Love, above all else.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a first-generation American. My Caribbean heritage is important to me; I'd probably introduce my hosts to aspects of it the same way I've done with my friends. My house has a long history of hosting surfers that I happily continue. :) I have friends around the world and I hope to gather a few more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Probably going to the Capital Hill Block Party with Daniela, or biking to Discovery Park with Ingrid...I don't know! So many awesome people are here!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dropped a 50 ft cliff on my board. :-D The Palacio in Sevilla is pretty extraordinary....the 10-some meters of hand carved praises of Allah is breathtaking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about brains; not so great with diseases and consciousness, but I know a lot about perception. I have nerd out on reptiles. I'm pretty good at cooking and I've taught a few of my friends to cook. I trade recipes often. I can also hang a mean bear sack. I love, love, love to snowboard. In the next couple years I hope to do more destination riding (Japan, New Zealand, Germany, Nepal)
