COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed couches in Paris, Geneva, Berlin, Netherlands, Belgium, India and planning to go for many more in future. I really liked the idea.

Centres d'intérêt

My primary hobby is tourism. I have a great quench of learning history and culture. I love to visit historical places most of all. I love to collect antiques and things specific to any particular culture. I am a numismatist, carrying forward this hobby of collecting coins and papers notes since my childhood. I am a great fan of music too. I love listening to folk songs, love songs, instrumental music, and above all any song with soft tunes. My collection of songs is not limited to Bengali only, rather I also collect music and songs from different countries and languages.

Country and Folk songs, War and Historical movies. Few names are English: Gladiator, The Longest Day, Behind Enemy Lines, The Last Samurai, Aviator etc. Hindi: Ghazini, Hum-Tum, Munna vai MBBS etc.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

a. I stayed 7 days in a fishing-boat deep inside the largest mangrove forest of the world, the home of Royal Bengal Tigers, The Sundarban.
b. I climbed up the Kalapahar ridge-lines, went far above the clouds, then found out the source of a mountain stream which was unseen to the people for many years then took a shower there.
c. Once I got out with my friends at 11pm for a cup of tea outside. Then at last we halted after crossing almost 500 kms of road and took tea beside a tea-garden.

I love to learn about people, know different people's stories and listen to them. I love to imagine myself in others place and feel their emotion. I like to share also my stories with others.
