About Me

I think I'm an easy going and relaxed kind of person. I've been living and working in Lisbon for the past year and while I've loved this settled sort of lifestyle, the best parts of my time here have definitely been the random little adventures I've taken. I love camping, swimming in the sea, playing games, taking photos listening to music and watching films. I'm easily entertained. I appreciate small things in life and try to maintain a positive attitude towards every situation.
Before I had couchsurfing I was sharing with my best friend/housemate and you can see some references for both of us on her account

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just think couchsurfing makes so much sense. To me, it's not just a matter of free accommodation (although that is really great), it's more about meeting open minded people who are keen to share their lives with others. This is such a wholesome concept which I love being a part of. I believe that meeting new people is the most important part of self development. I like to think that each person I get to know has a small influence on how I grow.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite music includes Radiohead, James Blake, Beach House, Bob Dylan and King Krule but I really enjoy almost every type of music and it really does just depend on my mood.
Some of my all time favourite films are American Honey, In the Mood for Love, Room, The Royal Tenenbaums, Elephant, Lost in Translation, The Before Sunrise trilogy and so many others.
I actually don't read so much these days as I find it difficult to get really into a book and focus on it long enough to reach the end. But right now I'm in the middle of (and have been for the past three months) Kafka on the Shore by Murakami.
