I'm Sazzie, I'm 21 from England.

I recently quit my job as I want to explore, learn about other cultures and meet life long friends from everywhere!
I'm currently travelling solo without an itinerary, it's a little daunting but this means I am open to amazing opportunities :)
I don't believe in following a path that's expected of me - I want to create my own!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, couchsurfing isn't about free accommodation
I don't want to be a typical tourist; snapping photos for my Instagram and not understanding the place I'm visiting.
I want to gain friendships that last across borders and I want to learn about the locals/culture!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Unfortunately when I was younger I was quite ill, but I was very passionate about getting better and helping others in a similar position to recover too.

I actively campaigned to raise awareness about mental health illnesses in adolescents.
For example; I gave presentations to university students who were entering the mental health field and spoke to various doctors at board meetings to be vocal and give a perspective they didn't have, so they knew how best to help!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love sharing stories with people - crazy, funny, sad...
I have lots to say and want to hear about other people's experiences, too!
Not only can I offer a friendly ear, and (in my opinion) a good sense of humour, I'm always happy to help with cooking food and etc :)
