About Me

CURRENT MISSION

dance through yellow butterflies

ABOUT ME

i'm very easygoing and happy go lucky. i love to laugh... and do...very loudly, at all the wrong times. I tend to live in my own world most of the time (usually leads to me tripping over anything and everyone) but when i'm earthbound i love meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

enjoy whatever comes your way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE/EXPERIENCE IN COUCHSURFING
I was actually an active participant in couchsurfing 10 years ago. I went to meet ups, I travelled around Europe broke and met some of the most wonderful people of my life on couchsurfing.
Now I'm at the point of life where I can finally give back to other people what I got out of couchsurfing. Which was a whole new perspective on the generosity, kindness, and friendliness of people from all over the world.

I am all for meet ups when I am in town.
I do work a job where I travel out of the city for work. So I can only host on the intermittent weeks when I am actually in town.

Interests

Interests:
reading, rollerblading, driving long distance to nowhere in particular, chocolate shops, bakeries, sky diving, sleeping, jump roping, traveling, playing in the park, meeting new people, routinely making a fool of myself (okay so maybe not an interest but definitely something i am very good at)

Music, Movies, and Books

books- i love to read but i'm horrible at picking favorite anything. But overall, I am into escapist fantasy fiction at the moment. Love a book with clever new magic system and some great writing to lose myself for a little bit. For example: Mistborn, Kingkiller Chronicles, Broken Earth series.

I have a problem with favorites, like I sad before. I live with music on constantly and like a pretty large variety. I played classical piano for about 12 years so that tends to influence my tastes a little!
but general list-the killers, the beatles, classical music (especially Chopin, Lizt, and Brahms), the shins, zutons, redwalls, counting crows, the phantom of the opera, john denver, the caesars, simeon garfunkl, ugly kid joe, joshua radin, apocalyptica, chieftains, the decemberist, abba, phillip glass, the pogues, rilo kiley, gary jules, david berkeley, rufus wainwright, and many many more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky dived-and I'm dead scared of heights! The view and feeling though were totally worth it and kept me going back :-)!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm if you are ever planning to visit India I'm very good with knowing the little things that need to be packed that no one ever thinks to tell you!
I would love to practice my french and my hindi (both very bad) with more people.
