Overview
About Me
I'm a teaching assistant at a school in the West Midlands, UK. I taught English in Vietnam and Australia for about 4 years. We always had an open door, but I'm back in the UK living between my parents' houses... Much less exciting, and no room for visitors :(
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a great way to meet people and make the world a chiller, smaller and more open place to be.

Loads. Always looking for recommendations
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
• Qualified for the world championship in obstacle course racing?! Honestly, no one knows how this happened
• Cycled the length of Vietnam (2000km)
Teach, Learn, Share
• Nervous about speaking other languages but still very keen to learn: especially French, Spanish and Vietnamese
• Would love to learn how to cook a local vegetarian dish from your area
• Keen to volunteer at charities in the local area
• Always willing to go on any outdoor or volunteering activities
What I Can Share with Hosts
• English lessons (qualified and experienced ESL teacher)
• Advice on getting into teaching English (it can earn you some extra dolla teaching online or is a great way to move abroad and you don't have to be a native speaker)
• Probably about three or four words in Vietnamese
• A lot of information about this one painting I wrote about at uni
• A badly cooked vegetarian meal
• A gift from whichever country or city I visit before yours
• Or wine. I can always bring wine.
