Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interested in meeting fellow travellers, and happy to offer the couch in my room! I am a big fan of the general attitude of opening doors to strangers (friends you haven't yet met). On the other hand, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to stay with locals who share a similar mindset.

I do science. I like hiking, spending time outside - especially grilling. I also like running and drinking beer. I am a man of simple pleasures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2013 I explored the southeast part of Canada with good friends and took zero pictures - the trip was so inspiring that I will never need a photo to remind myself of it.
