Chi sono
CURRENT MISSION
Hoping to graduate from UW in the coming year. In the meantime, enjoying Seattle and training for my second marathon.
ABOUT ME
I was born in New Orleans, LA . I had lived in southeast Louisiana my whole life until recently. I now live in Seattle, Washington.
I've been fortunate enough to have had some international travel experiences and it really switched on my sense of curiosity. I think I'd be willing to go just about anywhere on Earth at this point.
As for the things I do to entertain myself, I row, I take photographs, I read, I ride my bike, I swim, I am learning to play ukulele(fun!), I listen to a good deal of music, and I like to explore places in general.
I just graduated from LSU this past December and I am currently in pursuit of a Master's in Urban Planning at the University of Washington.
PHILOSOPHY
I am still trying to discover my life's maxim. Until then I'll be happy with learning, seeing, and doing.
I think that people are too concerned with the daily grind. I hope I never wind up in that cycle.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far, I've hosted a number of travelers in Baton Rouge. It's my hope that I am able to show people a side of this town that not everyone gets to experience.
Good beer or espresso and lively conversations don't hurt either!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted quite a number of people now. Curiously, most of them have spoken French. Perhaps Louisiana still has some residual colonial allure.

I can teach you to row. I can sort of play ukulele, so we can jam. I can teach you the basics of handling a camera. I can show you how to fix a bicycle. I know a lot of goofy trivia about the world!
I really should learn how to sew. I would honestly like to learn anything you have to show me! If School House Rock taught me anything, it's that knowledge is power!
