Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just found out about this project and am so happy I did! While I cannot host anyone on my NY couch (mostly because I don't own a couch) I'd be happy to show you around NYC while I'm here. And if I move back to Texas after I graduate, you're always welcome. We pride ourselves on our southern hospitality!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend and I just got back from Dublin. We couchsurfed, and it was the best experience ever!

Before officially "couchsurfing", I lived with a host-family in Spain. And after my organized trip to Israel, my sister and I extended our stay and crashed with some Israeli soldiers who soon became life-long friends.

It is such an awesome experience to be totally immersed in the culture of these countries. I feel the only way to truly experience an environment is to throw yourself in full force. Live with the people, talk to the people, try to mesh with the people. Everyone ends up benefiting from it.

Interests

I love to travel. I would never be able to say which of my visited countries is my favorite. Each has an awesome and unique character.

I love to dance. I love making films and watching them. I love photography. I love going to museums and to the theater. I love going out and having fun. There isnt much I'm not interested in.
