Overview
About Me
Hello! I'm Sarah. I am an optimist by nature who smiles and laughs easily. My appetite for the world is huge thanks to a love of travel instilled in me at an early age. I find liberation in nature; basking in the bigness of it all. I’m a teacher at heart. I absolutely love connecting with others; empowering them with new skills and boosting their self-confidence. My teaching experience spans from wheel-thrown pottery, jewelry making, open-fire cooking, wood-oven baking, and now yoga. I have a wonderfully satisfying, odd career at a living history museum as a costumed interpreter (docent) of the 1830’s in Midwest America. I owned my own company selling cookies in a former life, so I consider myself a pretty good baker. I also write poetry for fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m a lover of people, cultures and traditions seeking to contribute to positivity in the human community.
I'll be in Paris from 10am on August 6th until 8:30am on August 8th. It's been too long since I've crossed the Atlantic! I'm very excited to explore Paris again.
