ABOUT ME
Like to experience different places and cultures even if sometimes I feel a little out of my element. I love outdoor sports, playing music, and want to sail around the world.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is to live as honestly as I can, not judge others, and be willing to experience and understand different perspectives and cultures. Everyday I am growing and learning more about myself and others and am grateful for what I can learn everyday.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not had any official couch surfing experiences but while traveling in Chile was invited into many people's homes, usually rural farm properties and was very grateful for their hospitality, good food, and willingness to share so much with a stranger.
Interests
Playing guitar and writing songs. Learning about the environment around me. Eating good food. Sharing fun experiences with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw a whale breach from the bluffs near my home a couple days ago. I traveled to Chile in 2009, hitchhiking around Patagonia and rock climbing. I floated down a river in France with a plastic water jug and a log because I missed the bus.
Teach, Learn, Share
My motto is that I'm a slow learner but I'm learning everyday, and I think it s a pretty nice understanding to live with. Maybe the most that I can teach right on is not to jump to conclusions and be willing to hear new perspectives. I believe strongly in the health of our environment but hope to learn more about how we can live as more a part of that environment rather than separated from it.
