ABOUT ME

I am a perpetual student, happy to take on just about any outdoor activity, the muddier the better. I have 2 young kids that are my companions in trouble. My weekdays are spent in a cubical but my weekends are adventure time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just starting out here, but I hope to meet exciting people and make their travels a little easier by offering up my couch (and/or air mattress).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent a summer bicycling around the south island of New Zealand, hitchhiking when the rain was too much to handle. It solidified my belief that Kiwi's are the nicest people on earth. Most of the towns we stayed in were too small to have a hostel, without fail someone would offer up a couch, and one time a fantastic trailer on the beach. My most memorable night was when a cookietime vendor gave us run of his garage... "you're welcome to try any cookietime you can find"...We had to bike for weeks burning off all the awesomeness.
