ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Sander, a taller-than-average Belgian scientist with love for biotechnology and geeky tabletop, board and PC gaming. I like doing nearly every sport and eating every type of food in existence. Apart from that, a bunch of my time is gobbled up by getting dragged to the farthest corners of the world by my girlfriend and loving every second of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people who share my interest or can show me new ones, and hopefully play a variety of games along the way.

Interests

Sports: Judo & other martial arts, soccer, tennis, skiing...
Music: playing the piano, singing, listening to any style of music that doesn't damage my ears.
Cooking: always eager to learn new styles and recipes!
Partner dancing, especially enjoying Salsa with my girlfriend Annika.
Science, biology, computer and games are some other interests of mine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classical to pop; nothing too exotic though. I'm very secretly a fan of Taylor Swift. Oh and Disney ohmahgawd, can't remember how many times I've pained my parents' ears trying to learn a new Disney song.
My favorite books & movies are the fantasy or comedic type, but anything thought-provoking will get my attention.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always willing to learn and teach.
I've taught judo to the children of my judo school, so don't be afraid if you want an initiation!
Also been playing the piano for 13 years now, recently took singing classes as well, so if music is your thing, let's team up and share knowledge.
I'm willing to share any experience or knowledge I have with everyone who is interested, be it sports, music, cooking, science and the like, travel tips...
Obviously as well interested in what the world can teach me. Especially, always looking for new cooking recipes, as well as learning/improving languages.
