About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm graduating college on May 9th. I'm going to Europe before I start work in mid June.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 6'5" guy from Alabama. I enjoy all kind of outdoor activities and sports. I ran the 400m and 400h in college. When I have spare time I'm usually out riding my standup jetski or dragracing.
I've had 5 exhange students stay with me from the GAPP program out of Frankfurt but have never had enough money to go stay with any of them until now. I'm looking forward to visiting with my old friends and making some new ones while exploring Europe.
I will be graduating from college in two days with a mechanical engineering degree. I'm thankful to have a fulltime job lined up and a month long break before I start.
If you want to know anything else just ask and feel free to look me up on Facebook or Myspace.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I can't offer up a couch right now since I don't own one. If you're ever around Mobile, Alabama hit me up, and I'll show you around.
P.S. I'll be buying a house in the near future immediately followed by a couch. Then you can come stay as long as you like.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, so far I have no experience other than signing up. But I hope to get a little experience very soon. I'll be going to Germany on May 22, 2009 to stay with a friend until the 28th. Here's where it gets interesting. I was planning to stay with a friend in Paris for a few days but he is going out of town on business. So, I have a big gap in my travel plans. My only other "planned" stop is the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten. Guess what I have no place to stay there either.
If you feel the need to show someone around your "neck of the woods" send me a message!!!
Looks like my first trip to Europe will be quite an adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read the Lord of the Rings trilogy and lots of Tom Clancy, R.A. Salvatore, and John Grisham.
Music, well it just depends on my mood, but I am from Alabama so country/bluegrass is high on my list. Lately I've been on a Breaking Benjamin kick.
As far as movies go I enjoy pretty much every genre. Some of my favorites are The Green Mile, Iron Eagle, Lord of the Rings (all of them), The Ring, Cars, Transformers, Even Almighty, Driving Mrs. Daisy, and Major Payne! Everyone once in a while I'll watch a sappy film, but it's got to be follow up with something like Rambo :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently spent a week canoeing the Buffalo river in Arkansas. It was amazing!!!
On May 11th I'll be heading up to North Carolina to do some backpacking!
