ABOUT ME

My name is Shaun, I'm an Emergency Medical Technician, studying to become a Paramedic (Ambulance Service) and I'm traveling with my girlfriend Abbie, who is a Staff Nurse in Emergency Medicine (Hospital). We love to travel when our jobs allow, experience new places, new cultures and really immerse ourselves in other countries. It is this reason we love the idea of couch surfing: So we can really learn about the places we visit, and how the citizens lives, which is much better than the tourist bubble experience of staying in a hotel. We are also into various active hobbies including surfing, mountaineering, kayaking & canoeing, gliding and flying.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would really like a host who is able to help us experience a city from the point of view of those who live there. Of course, the perfect host doesn't need to be available for the whole time with us, just with enough local knowledge and passion to add a new dimension to our trip!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This will be our first couchsurfing experience!

Interests

Anything active, we'll give it a go. We've tried wakeboarding in Wales, sailing the English Channel, surfing in Portugal, kayaking and canoeing in Sweden, mountaineering, mountain biking, flying, gliding, skiing and snowboarding in Italy, among other things!
We love to travel, see beautiful places, meet great people, and have a fulfilling journey.
