ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Anne and I am 22 years old. I'm studying anthropology and spanish at Oregon State University. My favorite things to do are berry picking, tromping through the woods with friends, reading a good book (I really like anything by Michael Pollan or Barbara Kingsolver).
I really love living here in Corvallis and Oregon in general.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is a bit hard to state, but it I believe in love and goodness and letting go of everything and that things that are meant to happen will.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In Septemeber my friend Devon and I hitch-hiked up to Vancouver, B.C, and that trip totally restored my faith in humanity. We met so many lovely adventurous and generous people. I really want to pay it forward and host people back here in Corvallis.

I've hosted a few people at my apartment in Corvallis and have really enjoyed it.

Interests

Exploring (anything but especially creepy old buildings), thrift stores, surfing, bluegrass music, the Oregon Country Fair!, traveling anywhere, cooking new food playing the guitar, and mushroom picking. I love learning everything I can that has to do with anthropology. After I get out of University I plan to work to become a midwife so that's another big interest of mine.

Paul Simon is my all time favorite! I discovered that National Geographic has online music and I love it!
