ABOUT ME

My boyfriend and I, live in beautiful downtown Portland. We are nice and fun loving people who enjoy learning about different types of people and cultures. We are both very open-minded and get along with most people. I’m currently going to school full time for my BA in psychology and Jeff already has his BA in psychology. We have been friends for nearly six years and have enjoyed a committed open relationship for the past three years.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe that all individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal rights of others to live in whatever manner they choose.

Jeff and I love to host people when we can, so if you want to come and visit the fun and unique city of Portland then come visit us.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my travels in Europe in 2009 I had the opportunity to stay with some very nice people. I also hosted a few people at my old place in Chico CA. Now Jeff and I are enjoying hosting people in the exciting and unusual city of Portland OR.

One of our favorite things to do is adventure around our city and find new things to do with friends and guests. We also have a large interest in music, civil liberties, movies and games. Our free time is generally split between spending time with friends and family. We are also a part of a community that supports our unique type of open relationship. Some of our favorite movies include: Inception, Goonies, Children of Men, Never Let Me Go, Labyrinth, V for Vendetta, Garden State, What Dreams May Come, and many others.

Some of our favorite types of music are: Classical, Electronica, Alternative Rock, Gothic, Ambient, and New Wave 80's. Some of our favorite musicians include: Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Brian Eno, Bach, She Wants Revenge, Fever Ray, Phantogram, and many others.

Our book tastes differ: Jeff likes current affairs and books about liberty and I like fantasy supernatural adventures like Harry Potter, The Hollows series, but we both enjoyed reading Atlas Shrugged.
