To be as content when I am grounded as I am when I am travelling.

ABOUT ME

I grew up primarily in Yorkshire England, but have travelled around a bit; i have lived in France, Sweden, Italy, New Zealand, America, Australia and now back to the UK. My Mum lives in NZ and I spent some time there nearly 4 years ago before moving to Oz, which was amazing. I used to be a dancer, but then moved onto theatre and eventually want to work in theatre in education. I love meeting new people and travelling and love spending time with my family and friends.The majority of my family is Irish and i have lots of them and they are all over the place which is great for a holiday and after living all over the place I now have friends all over too, which again is fab for travels and visits! I used to teach, until a week ago. My boyfriend and I packed up and moved to Richmond where I am going to study to be a Dramatherapist. It is all very scary, but very exciting!

PHILOSOPHY

I love to travel. When iam travelling iam happy. I dont have a home really... i am very easily settled and my home is where iam at that current time. I am happy most of the time but often need a bit of time just to reflect and have a ponder. if iam feeling down i love to listen to music and either be on my own or be with someone who knows me well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met a girl in San Francisco via CS and had the best time with her while I was there and am still in contact with her. I lived in London for a year and met a couple people through CS who wanted a contact in London. Its a great place to meet people, like mided or completely different! I have met some amazing people and fab friends through CS and hope to continue to do so! I made some wonderful friends in Italy through couch surfing and had an amazing time because of them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meeting Lexi in San Francisco was the best experience i have ever had with CS. She really looked after me and showed me around the city and we had some fab nights out! I am still in touch with her and will probably return the favour one day!! Meeting Cat in Cambridge was so loevely, she is now one of my best friends and I have an invite to her wedding!

Intereses

i love music... all kinds of music from indie to 50's and 60's... and chill out music to rock music... musicals, and some cheesey pop!.. so a lot really. I love to dance. I was a ballet dancer for years ans now still enjoy watching it and other forms of dance and theatre. i love being with my friends and having a good dance. I love being by the sea and the beach... i love meeting new people of all cultures and exploring new places. and most of all i love to travel, nothing beats waking up in a new place and having a week or two to explore with no real plans. I love to make make metal clay jewelley, read, watch films and exploring new places.

Música, películas y libros

movies.... anything about dancing! center stage, grease, dirty dancing, save the last dance, step up... i like comedies, something you watch without really having to think, romeo and juliet, FAMILY GUY, green wing, Criminal minds, New girl, One born every minute, 24 hours in a&e. I love Freya north books especially 'Chloe' not for obvious reasons. i love jaqueline wilson books too, helps with the teaching and they are so much fun! I love european films- my favourite being cleo- sept de neuf. beautiful french film.

Algo increíble que he hecho

When i was in sweden we went to the ice hotel in kiruna, lapland which was absoloutley amazing. Freezing but amazing. Sweden was amazing full stop. I saw the most amazing sun sets and met some amazing people. New Zealand and the extremes in the weather and scenery here is amazing. I have little been speechless by some of the things but my journies there stunned me into silence!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

i would love to learn fluent french as i lived there over two summers. i can speak a bit but not really! I love to teach people about what the UK is really like, that there is so much more than London... to quash the stereotypes.
