About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Tomorrow, the black morning, I close the door in the face of the dead years. I will go on the road, bum my way over land and sea, from the old to the new world...."

ABOUT ME

I work to live and not the other way around:)

PHILOSOPHY

“When I drink whiskey, I drink whiskey; and when I drink water, I drink water." -The Quiet Man

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just trying to spread the word, enjoy CS and help others do the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´ve been a couchsurfer since my first international backpacking trip to Brasil in 2010. Since then I've hosted many travelers and had uncountable positive experiences being hosted in nearly every place my travels have taken me. CS is a way of life!

Interests

I'm interested in so many things I don't know where to start -I love music of all kinds -literally. I love to read and write and watch movies. I love to dance (even if I don't know how). I love living out of a backpack. I love beaches, hiking, being outdoors. I love my friends and family. I love good company and good conversation -the kinds that keep you up to all odd hours of the night.

Music, Movies, and Books

"STOP! DON'T SWEAT IT! SIMPLY MOVE A FEW INCHES LEFT OR RIGHT TO GET A NEW VIEWPOINT. Look... Reality is greater than the sum of its parts, also a damn sight holier. And the lives of such stuff as dreams are made of may be rounded with a sleep but they are not tied neatly with a red bow. Truth doesn't run on time like a commuter train, though time may run on truth. And the Scenes Gone By and the Scenes to Come flow bending together in the sea-green deep while Now spreads out in circles on the surface. So don't sweat it. For focus simply move a few inches back or forward. And once more... look;"
Ken Kesey, Sometimes a Great Notion

"Little solace comes
to those who grieve
when thoughts keep drifting
as walls keep shifting
and this great blue world of ours
seems a house of leaves
moments before the wind."

Mark Z. Danielewski, House of Leaves

"Hey! Are you a Dreamer? I haven't seen too many around lately. Things have been tough lately for Dreamers. They say that dreaming's dead and nobody does it anymore. Well, its not that its dead, its just its been forgotten. Removed from our language. Nobody teaches it so no one knows it exists. And the Dreamer is banished to obscurity... Well, I'm trying to change all that and I hope you are too. By dreaming every day. Dreaming with our hands and dreaming with our minds. Our planet is facing the greatest problems its ever faced. Ever. So whatever you do don't be bored. This is absolutely the most exciting time we could have possibly hoped to be alive. And things are just starting."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Stonehenge. I've seen the cliffs and pastures of the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland. I´ve spent a month living in a hut in the middle of the Amazon. I´ve nearly been mugged, at knife-point, on Copacabana Beach at sunrise. and I've "Skied the East".

Teach, Learn, Share

Everything. I see the next ten years of my life as being quite dedicated to this `CouchSurfing University`. I can´t wait to live some more and see what happens along the way.
