Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have space in my apartment and would love to host whenever its possible, but more to meet new people and show what the city has to offer. I'm always exploring new parts of the city and would like to share the journey.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couch surfed for 2 days in Munich and it was an awesome experience. I had a great host with an awesome place, gave great tips for traveling the city, and got to meet a number of other couch surfers when we went out.
I've hosted once before and had an amazing time. Even though I was healing a broken toe at the time, we did a lot of venturing around the town and saw some pretty cool stuff.
I've never had an experience that wasn't the best.
Interests
Where shall I begin.... architecture pretty much saturates my life, music, going to concerts, photography, collecting old books, traveling, drawing, reading, thinking about all sorts of things

Music, Movies, and Books
listening to every bit of music I can get my hands on. started with classic rock now indie, electronica, and more have joined. Favorite band by far is Pearl Jam.
Up for any movie, from shawshank redemption to office space. it just has to be good.
most recent reads include to kill a mockingbird, white noise, thinking architecture by peter zumthor, plenty about self-knowledge, and currently reading personal space (and awesomely dated book from the 60s about architecture and well... personal space)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
saw a burning baby carriage once
also traveled to iceland to stare over a waterfall and climb a glacier, was tempted to eat a puffin, i did eat a guinea pig in peru though, that was tasty.
this past year has been full of things, hopefully it doesn't slow down.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an architect and I feel that we always had a unique prespective on any city. I love the history of a city but also have a great knowledge of the new (probably more than most would care about.... unless you are another architect)....... other than that, you will have to meet me to find out
