ABOUT ME

Life is a pretty cool thing...

I am a 26 year old professional, bouncing around the globe on diplomatic and humanitarian missions. Lately, I have been spending most of my time in Southeast Asia and Washington, D.C., but in the past I've lived in the USA, Costa Rica, Kenya, Scotland, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

My favorite things are science, travel, politics, and emergencies. I am also currently working on a fellowship in Biosecurity and soon to be pursuing a PhD.

I enjoy high adrenaline activities, partying, the ocean, and experimenting with food and drink. I also pride myself on being in touch with the world we live in.

In Jamaica, there is this bay where fresh water mixes with ocean water to produce just the right salinity for a special type of florescent plankton to flourish. At night you can row out to the middle of the bay stir the water with your hand, causing the water to glow brightly. If you jump in and swim it creates such a blinding light that it almost hurts your eyes. One can even see a glowing ‘comet’ tail that is left in the water when fish swim by.
