Hello world!

My name is Shahin and I live in a little village called Detmold. Even though it is pretty small it is known for it’s music conservatory amongst musicians. This is where I currently study Elementary Music Pedagogy.
Life here is very unexciting but this can be an advantage if you appreciate the quite countryside.

I love to meet new people and am quite extroverted but I can also listen and love having intimate conversations. I like to make people happy by being funny and stupid. ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and learn new ways of life.

Interests

I like to go on walks through nature, do yoga and go for a run. I like to eat healthy and go to bed early *laugh*

Music, Movies, and Books

My greatest inspiration was Freddie Mercury. He turned me on to singing.
I love classic rock bands, the power, the energy..
But also love bel canto singers. Their voices are hauntingly beautiful.

John Williams and his music for Star Wars is what turned me in to music. I love this man.
Of course I have to mention the beautiful Lord of the Rings both film, book and music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Summer 2018 I hitchhiked to Portugal with a friend. It was quite an adventure!
