About Me

CURRENT MISSION

a mix of work & travel all over the world, depending on the current amount of change in my pocket :)

ABOUT ME

im quite open to new people and new cultures and thats why id like to see as many countries and meet as many people as possible in my short life...
apart from that i see everything quite easy, try to have a good laugh about things and just be happy with what i got.

PHILOSOPHY

life is too short to sit on a couch and let all the cool things and great opportunities pass by, why not do it now instead?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

started with a great long-term-surf in Zürich in 2009 with Benoit and Manuel and tried to surf and host as much as possible ever since. amazingly i never heard anything bad about CS during the whole time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

only great host/guests so far, i love couchsurfing and met some amazing people all over the world during my around-the-world-tour

Interests

definitely any kind of sport, especially not common ones, for example i enjoyed canyoning on korsika or skydiving in south africa very much

  • traveling
  • adventure races
  • skydiving
  • sports
  • tourism

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: green mile, lord of the rings, rainman, shutter island, a beautiful mind, inception
music: R & B, Jazz, Soul, Black music, Reggae, acoustic, swing, don't really like trans and techno for too long
books: i just love books and therefore any kind of them: love stories, historical books, biographies. so the best bet for spending my free-time is sitting in a café with a nice cup of coffee, watching people passing by and eating away my book

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

after i finished my studies i did a 1-year-around-the-world-trip, starting in south america and then going to central america, california, beautiful fiji, new zealand (with a work & travel visa), australia, indonesia, malaysia, china, doha and istanbul. i highly recommend this kind of trip, because you see amazing things and meet super-interesting people every day!

What I Can Share with Hosts

i love to just sit with people, have a nice cup of coffee and dive into travel stories: i made the experience that whenever i thought i have seen quite a lot of cool places on this earth that somebody comes along and tells me about this other fantastic place, that i definitely have to visit and soon i am hooked by the idea of going to this country! so that's why traveling never ends, it's like a life-long-fever...
