COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

nearly all of my traveling has been done to visit friends or family. there may have been a concert or something that brought me to that city, but it was probably an excuse to see someone. so i've rarely stayed in hotels when traveling. i go to NYC every year but i've hardly done the touristy stuff, because i just shadow my friends in their daily lives.

i love Pittsburgh and i love showing it off to people. i'm one of a few people i know who do the touristy stuff here, like riding the Inclines, just for the heck of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

after the cast had been defunct for 5 years, i revived The Rocky Horror Picture Show performing shadow cast in Pgh, The Junior Chamber of Commerce Players. i had never done Rocky before and did it as single handedly as one can do anything in theater; i found performers but did all the organizational work myself. boy am i thankful for the international network of Rocky nutz!

i can teach you to belly dance! man or woman, young or old, in shape or out of it, you can totally do it! i've been belly dancing since 2001, and started teaching a weekly class in 2007. it's fun!

i want to learn to sing classically. i took voice lessons for a whole big year in 2002 but i couldn't afford to keep up with them.
