About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Write as much as I can, read as much as I can, and share what I have to give.
ABOUT ME
I grew up somewhere and lived somewhere else and one day decided to quit my job and move to Scotland to study literature. By now the wind of life somehow carried me to Montréal.
My passions are writing, reading, I love food and meeting friends old and new for a great ol' time.
People make life interesting. There are too many nice folk in the world and there is too much fun to be had for even a single lifetime, so I just try to let it happen to me as much as I can. And what better way to do that than participating in the CS community, right? :-)
PHILOSOPHY
Places are empty without the people and it is through people that we remember places. CS has given me awesome memories, funny, exciting, interesting, beautiful memories in all kinds of places with so many amazing characters, some of which entered and left my life within less than a day, while others are still around and became lifelong friends. Jump on board the train and see whats in it for us!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Cause its the most amazing way to travel and a rewarding contribution to the travelling community.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosted lots, surfed even more and made new friends on CS meetings wherever I lived since I signed up. If you're around, come and be part of the adventure!
Interests
I love reading, writing, cooking (observing a vegan diet now) and hanging out. Always down for a walk, hike, coffee, or a pint with people. I also enjoy watching professional StarCraft II and the occasional ice hockey match.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like lots of different music. Come and ask if you really wanna know!
After too many years doing literature at uni I have no idea which books to pinpoint as my favourites... I really love the writing of John Boyne, my favourite by him is "The Absolutist." I love Jean Rhys and Jane Austen, but there is just too much to list it all. I do read lots of graphic novels as well. And don't even get me started on the poetry...
Tell me your favourite book if you wanna show me you've actually read this profile! Cookbooks and comics count! If you're not a reader, no need to pretend. Give me a movie or a show! :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Running through Tahrir Square while the Egyptian revolution took place and seeing the Naadam Festival in Mongolia. Also attended an Alexisonfire gig in Toronto, Canada, which is very special to me at least! ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
We can share vegan food and ideas for dishes. I can share my poetry with you, and all my thoughts about literature and philosophy if you're down for that.
You can also learn some words of German here!
And I've once been called "A hive of stories", so I am sure if you're into anecdotes, I got something for you too! But the best obviously is to create new good memories and new stories together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Much the same as above! Stories, memories, writing, German, and (which is often the nicest thing to do as a guest) a meal or a beverage of any kind! ;)
