About Me
CURRENT MISSION
After working in a house for young refugees as a social worker in Dresden during the last months, I became more and more tired of working from day to day. Even though I was part of a wonderful team, I became stressed more and more in the last time. So I decided breaking my job for travelling arround in Southern Europe.
After saying good bye to my boyfriend Alex and my dog Pepe for the next three months I will take a flight to Málaga (Andalusia) in the beginning of May. In this area I will visit a good friend from university who moved from Germany to Spain. So a small village in the mountains is just calling me relaxing and getting energy in the first time of my travel while harvesting masses of fruits in my friends garden.
After this I would like to go to Barcelona while taking some breaks on the way. My plan is to go by hitchhiking. Where I will stay just depends on the people and places I become attached.
In the end of May I will take a boat to Sardinia. In Ulassai, a small village in the eastern part of the island I will meet Liz, a crazy girl from Canada I got to know in a Turkish rock climbing spot six years ago. In a climbing house, which she built up, I will help out while going to the rocks from day to day.
After one months at Sardinia I still have the whole July left for travelling. No plans, no ideas... Maybe Greece? ;) Well, I have never been there.
ABOUT ALBERT
After the most exciting 9 months in Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Turkey Albert started studying at an university in Dresden (water engineering). After a few months he recognized that he doesn't feel ready to start a ordered life without travelling. ;) :P Good perception - well done, Albert!
So he quitted university and went to Antalya, in a climbing camp.
He came back for washing his clothes and getting ready for a trip to Romania.
Well... now... at this point of time Alberts life began changed step by step. He went to university an other time - he became a social worker, he got part of a partnership AND even he became a dog owner.
And now? Now he feels like missing something. Maybe it is just travelling. He will figure it out.
Albert is an open minded and curious guy in general. After being (maybe) a little bit shy in the beginning of saying "hello" he likes joining new people especially if they treat people respectful while accepting their different ways of life.
