ABOUT ME

I enjoy talking to goats. When I'm home alone, I blast the music and dance. I'm an easy going person who's always down to watch the sunset, drink a beer, meander with friends, or go on a good adventure. I can entertain myself for hours in the woods. There's so much beauty and life in this world and I always find myself stunned by it. I love to write and wish it was something I did more. I find myself when I go to the mountains; there against the open sky my mind expands and my thoughts race. Skiing and farming are my passions. Our agricultural system is like a rotten onion, spoiled on so many levels and I want to work to change that, as slow and daunting as that will be. I eat real food. Nothing better in my world than harvesting vegetables and creating a wonderful meal to share with friends. I think people are beautiful next to fires. Sidewalk chalk is highly underrated and underused by adults.

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop learning. Never stop exploring. There's no such thing as boredom in my book. Nature has so many things to teach us, if we will only take the time to listen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just entering the couchsurfing world. I've been inspired to join after meeting a few amazing individuals and really think this is a fantastic project. After I graduate I plan on working and travelling and I have no doubt some couch surfing will be involved. Adventure awaits!

Being outside. Being barefoot. Swimming in lakes. Rambling through the woods. Yodeling from mountain tops. Picking flowers and placing bouquets on a friend's doorstep. Sleeping under the stars. Playing frisbee. Juggling. Watching a storm brew and standing in the wind, feeling the energy rip across my face. Seeing trees dance. Drinking tea. Listening to spoken word. Eating risotto.

Music: gimme some bluegrass, indie, jazz. So much good music in the world. Talking Heads, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Elephant Revival are ALWAYS great. Recently Alt-J has been gracing my dancefloor.. Nothing beats a couple instruments, a fire, a warm starry night and good friends!

I play a little banjo and guitar and am always down to get tips and play with others.

I make a mean egg scramble. And a lot of other foods as well. I love cooking with others and learning new ways of doing things! Teach me your ways.
