ABOUT ME
I'm laid-back and easy-going, and always enjoy meeting new people! Right now, I'm loving working in Vancouver doing research in optimization and statistics, while I delay deciding what I want to be when I grow up. I really like working out; whether it is running around Stanley Park, trying to lift really heavy things, splashing back and forth as fast as I can, or just trying to crush some volleyballs. When the weather is nice, you will catch me exploring the city, hanging out on a beach, or off on an adventure. I also thoroughly enjoy eating great food, and am preparing a list of awesome places to dine in Vancity. Even more relevant for couchsurfing is that I enjoy travelling to new places and taking pictures of the most funny things that I find.
PHILOSOPHY
Be excellent to each other.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For several years I have been hosting/visiting friends and people that I've met through travelling, school, and work. A lot of people suggested that my personality and flat in Paris would be perfect for couchsurfing (in fact, I often had Parisian friends crashing at my place when they missed the last metro), and I decided to give it a try after meeting 2 amazing girls from my hometown who were couchsurfing with my officemate. I hosted a lot in my last year in Paris and also did a bit of surfing around Europe. These were some amazing experiences, and now I'm hoping for some more in Vancouver!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once accepted a job in Paris even though I had never been to France, and had not spoken French for 16 years. Best decision of my life.
