About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hoping to finish my MA(Peace Studies and International Politics) to go travelling again :)

ABOUT ME

After I finished school in 2008 I went to New Zealand for 8 months... Since then I´m hooked on traveling :)

My last adventure has been studying abroad in Oregon, USA in 2011. After that I traveled the East&West Coast of the US. and had so many great Couchsurfing experiences!

PHILOSOPHY

I think I`m too young to have a real philosophy for my life...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have only surfed a lot of couches (in New Zealand, Fiji, Scotland and the U.S.) :-)
When I finally have my own place in Germany (or somewhere else) I will hopefully be able to give back some of the friendliness I have experienced all over the World! For now I host together with my boyfriend at his place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed so far in NZ, Fiji, England, Scotland and the USA. Until now and had only very good experiences! From a very crowded and messy shared student house in Christchurch to a very tidy and luxurious flat at Lake Wakatipu I enjoyed every time.
I´m just starting to couchsurf the US, have been in Portland and Seattle so far and had only very good experiences!

Interests

I ride horses since about 14 years, had a dog and love all animals! Also I like reading, I am a fast reader so I`m running out of books all the time!
I enjoy the outdoors in general and rather spend the days outside than inside (overall I prefer nice and warm waether though ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books about vampires (from "Dracula" to the ones by Kim Harrison and Sergej Lukianenko). NOT the Twilight stories though, read one of them and found it to be truly horrible!
On the other side I can´t watch horror films :-) Otherwise I read Thrillers and other fiction.
I mostly listen to rock music, a little bit of metal also. Found out recently, that Johnny Cash made some good music as well ;)
My favorite bands include: Danke Jones, Bowling for Soup, Rammstein, Die Toten Hosen, Die Ärzte, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two months in Switzerland working on a horse stud. Being the whole day together with the horses and especially seeing the foals grow up was really fascinating!
My whole NZ trip was amazing as well. I met so many interesting people, saw such beautiful nature and wildlife and enjoyed every day here!
When I was in Fiji I went snorkeling for the first time in my life, swan with sharks (small ones) and Manta Rays (HUGE ones) and discivered a whole new world!
In the US I visited the Grand Canyon! No city (not even New York) can compete with that beauty!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to listen to people who are really passionate about what they are doing...such conversations are always interesting and the topic is not really important then.
