About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience as much as I can in the short time we have!
ABOUT ME
I am a true Spokanite/Spokee (i.e. born and raised in Spokane). While I was a student at Gonzaga, I began to realize and establish my true love for the outdoors and traveling. My hobbies include climbing, cycling, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, country swing dancing, and really any other activity, especially associated with the outdoors. I am always willing to try something! My favorite way to eat is to try a new and random place...you never find a good 'hole in the wall' restaurant without branching out!
PHILOSOPHY
"Do what you fear, don't fear what you do." This is one philosophy that has helped me broaden my range of hobbies and life experiences. Beyond the things I try, I also feel that relationships you build, through daily encounters or long term friendships, can enhance your life. Couchsurfing seems to compliment the way I live, and want to continue living my life, perfectly!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to couchsurfing, but have many friends that testify that it is the ONLY way to travel. I have met a couple people that were being hosted by my friends and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to meet them!
Interests
I am interested in anything to do with the outdoors. This includes extreme walking (i.e. hiking or backpacking), climbing, mountaineering (newer hobby), and skiing (new this last year after switching from snowboarding).

Music, Movies, and Books
I LOVE movies. During my downtime, which tends to be very little, I always fall back to watching movies of any genre. Electronic/EDM and Country (very odd combo) are my two favorite types of music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
How do you summarize the amazing adventure we call life into only one experience? I will try with a few different experiences:
1. Skydiving with a 360 degree view of Mt. Rainier, the Pacific, and Canadian Rockies.
2. Swimming with a pod of dolphins in Honduras
3. Seen the moon rise, illuminating the terrain of Mulvey Basin in Valhalla Provincial Park, BC Canada
Teach, Learn, Share
The more we learn, the less we realize we know. I am a true student of life and want to continue to broaden my understanding of different cultures and ways of life, while making shaping mine. I am an open book, and am always willing to share!
