About Me

ABOUT ME

To sum it up: crazy, happy, open-minded and chocolate :D

Okay, a little more detailed:
I grew up in the heart of Stuttgart. Even though I can not imagine living in the country, I still enjoy being there once in a while. e.g. when we travel to France. My family has an old farmer's house there (together with several other families). There is no internet, no phone and we use wood for heating.
I have a sister who's two years younger. We are really close. I'm also really close with my parents.
I went to the US in 11th grade and stayed in Santa Monica with a wonderful family (my second family now).
I graduated in 2007 and decided to go to Sweden. I stayed in Stockholm for 9 months. The first 6 months I worked as an aupair, but it didn't really work out with the family (bad times), so I moved out. I finished my Swedish course during the following 2-3 months.
In May ´08 I returned to Germany and started studying law in Freiburg. After two years there I spent a second year in Stockholm (Erasmus) and since September 2011 I'm back in good old Germany - but now in Berlin!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- Copenhagen (one night): the host was okay, but the appartment quite dirty
- Malmö (one night): perfect cousurfing experience. I liked my host a lot. We went to a party with good music, also some live music (two guys were playing the guitar and we all were singing). I enjoyed the time in Malmö a lot and hope that I'll see all those great people again!
- Göteborg (two nights): nice host, huge bed, very clean and stylish appartement, I liked that my host trusted me a lot and even gave me keys to his appartement
- Dalarna (two nights): first stay with a family. Very positive experience. I immedeately felt at home. Also hope to see them again

Interests

I'm interested in many things. In my freetime I like to do handicrafts such as earrings and bacelets, paint (although I'm not good at it), go to the theater or to art museums, go dancing, eat chocolate, play games, and hang out with friends. I love to travel and get to know different places, people and cultures. I'm also very interested in politics, languages, and history. I love discussions about everything, dancing and singing at night on my way home, going to the circus, bellydancing, music, designed stuff, IKEA, big cities, talking on the phone, food,...
