About Me

CURRENT MISSION

find the right way

ABOUT ME

I am very curious about peoples life, culture, politics and dreams. In profesional sphere I love to do something new, something incredible, in which nobody is believing in and I am laughing like a child, when it works out.

PHILOSOPHY

When you are believing that people are good, so they have to act like this...:) Really I am an idealist: People are good, circumstances could be bad. somehow in this way this was said by Bertolt Brecht

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just beginning do couch a bit, just because of having time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First I tried out was fantastic: I was staying in Kirov at Anton Zhorins home and he should us his town. Nothing could be better, than interested people, which love their hometowns to show it from the buttom up...:)

Interests

I love to create some new socio-cultural projects. I am interested in theatre, German, Russian literature, architecture, social politics. Once a year I have to leave town to go canoeing in the smart wilderness just to relax and enjoy the big mother nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just considered Remarque once more, really great narrator. I love a lot of authors but also the less known from GDR: Christa Wolf, Brigitte Reimann, Stefan Heym, Christoph Hein. Of course even these from the other side: Heinrich Böll, Günther Grass. And the Russians: Fyodor Dostoevsky, Victor Erofeev, Sergei Dovlatov.
I love jazz, klezmer or just do not know, how the other music styles are named...
Totally impressed by the documentarys and films: "Waste land", "The Yes men", "Exit Through the Gift Shop".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe that dreams can come true. I founded a circus for street children in St.Petersburg, the UPSALA circus and it works out. I try to initiate an open free Time Bank network in Russia and still working on it but people's interest is already evident. www.upsala-zirk.org
