I used to be in a band, Y La Bamba, and we always enjoyed staying with gracious Couchsurfing hosts, and I enjoy the stories and good times that Couchsurfing guests bring. I like sharing the stuff we do with others, and we figure since there's almost always a room in the house available, would like others to be able to use it.

have built some of the furniture in the house, enjoy odd DIY projects (potato cannon, horseshoe pit...), music is a staple for sure, playing with various ethnic dance groups and a kids' chorus

i play a lot of accordion, and am hyper-snobby about espresso. i give instruction sometimes in both arenas, will teach you to pull the best latte ever, or make the quintessential margarita.

Music (if you want), but also love conversation to whatever extent folks like to talk. It's not like we travelled the world and have those interests to share, but always ready to stay up late and gab.
