ABOUT ME

After a year in Chile, I am trying to readapt myself to the swiss society and way of living. I also want to influence my people to live a more spontaneous way, but it's not that easy and I guess the system already caught me back...

I am working in Lausanne as a traffic and mobility engineer. I am going to start a new part-time formation in transport and civil engineering in september 2013.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to keep in mind that I can do what I want with my life. Anything I can dream of. And it's even harder to do it.

If you own nothing, you can't lose anything.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had many CS experience while cycling through Germany and so far I've never had a bad host. Strange yes, but bad, never ;-)

Intereses

I'm very found of skateboarding. It allows me to use the street as a playing ground. In three words: friends, freedom and creativity.

Apart from skateboarding, I like reading. I had my thriller (Connelly) an Fantasy period (Pratchett)and sometimes more political books, particularly on degrowth and voluntary simplicity. Nowadays, I am more into philosophy and psychology. I guess I want to know how to live in peace with myself.

As a civil and traffic engineer, I'm quite interested in sustainable building and town planning. But the more I learn, the more I realize that the society needs time to change. A big and motivating challenge...

Música, películas y libros

When I write these lines, I'm listening to Bob Dylan (Broke down engine). Besides, I like Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden and June de ville.

Concerning movies, I like all the Monty Pythons especially the flying circuses. I don't really like the current commercial stuff and if I want to pay to watch a movie, I go to the Cinématèque Suisse in Lausanne where they show funnier and more sensible movies.
