ABOUT ME

I love to travel, ride bicycles, eat and meet people. I'm friendly and easygoing and always have a smile on my face. I have a wide circle of friends which includes the friends I make when I travel. I've become a bit of a homebody in my old age (early nights, early mornings) but I love a good meal, a glass of wine and enjoy a good conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the way couchsurfing allows you to look at a place through different eyes and find and experience new things that tourist's don't normally do. I couch-surf and host occasionally and have always enjoyed the experience. I'm not always able to host but please ask.

Interests

My favourite thing in the world is a good meal and a good conversation with friends.

I love cycling and riding around on my road bike. I'm a pretty avid cyclist and have just started amateur racing. This means that I often get up very early to train so please only apply if this is ok.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to music and have a wide variety of tastes. Favourite artists include Ben Folds, Florence and the Machine, Rodrigo y Gabriel. I used to go out to live gigs a lot but have found that hard to do during the week.

I also really enjoy reading and favourite authors include Murakami and Margaret Atwood.
