Overview
About Me
In 2013 I embarked on a Couchsurfing adventure through the US archives system on a research road trip for a book of intrigue on international monetary policy relating to gold and silver. I made some solid discoveries and met incredible people.

COUCH SURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2013 - I bought a Toyota Avalon in Las Vegas, packed it for the east coast and the engine seized before leaving town... true Japanese reliability! My second car, a Chrysler LHS carried me over 20,000 miles on 3 US research road trips, undeterred by tornado destruction in Moore and snow in Missouri.
I enjoy the social side of couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As a dare, I once swam across the Trevi Fountain, Rome on a summers evening when the square was packed with tourists. On that architectural tour, I was young, careless and rode a Vespa around Rome for 3 days without a helmet - And yes, I did only one lap only around the Colosseum. The head was not considered a vital body part in those days.
