About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to meet people, travel, and enjoy life
ABOUT ME
Hola- busco amig@s en Madrid. Acabo de llegar aqui y quiero conocer a mas gente.
My favorite things include: Wine. Interpretive dance. Drumming. Playing instruments. Friends. Gluten free restaurants/food. People. Fun. Parties. Getting pierced/Piercings. Doggies. Haitian drumming.
Facts about me: I don't do caffeine, wheat, oats, rye, or barley (gluten free!). I believe in human rights and will devote my life to stopping hate around the world. I always look at the bright side of things.
PHILOSOPHY
The type of person I am:
While interning in NYC I had to take the train to Broadway everyday. I don’t know which stop is closer to my office, but I’m stubborn and always went to Prince St. My rationale: if it’s closer, then I’m saving time. If it’s further away, then I’m getting better exercise.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No he conocido a mucha gente, pero quiero conocer a mas! Si vives aqui or visitas aqui me
I’m new to cs, but have met a few people for drinks and had a great time/great conversations. I’ve couch surfed on my own in London and Washington DC, and met some amazing people. So I want to start couch surfing around Europe while I’m here! I must admit I’m a little wary since I’m new, but I’m all for trying new things.
Interests
La gente, libros,
Walking/running, reading, writing, being in the sun, making collages/art projects, collecting belts that make no sense, collecting free postcards (as well as free things in general).
I like to cook… but hate recipes/measuring things. So all my meals are a hodgepodge of various things that I think will go together. So that means I can cook for you, but it will be random. And gluten free/vegetarian. I don’t go out to eat because of my dietary restrictions (unless I find a gluten free restaurant), which is a pain, but cheaper/safer.

Music, Movies, and Books
Estoy leyendo 'Ensenazas del Buddhismo' y 'El arte de la felicidad'
Books- Eat, pray, love: Universally people tend to think that happiness is a stroke of luck, something that will maybe descend upon you like fine weather if you are fortunate enough. But that's not how happiness works. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it. If you don't, you will leak away your innate contentment.
Music- Pink, Tegan & Sara
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Vivo en Espana!
Temescal in Mexico. Amazing sauna experience.
Also- when I was studying in Mexico I got very sick, had to go to the emergency room, etc. That weekend I went to an indigenous village and I was treated like a member of the family. A curandera gave me a stomach massage, and it really helped me feel better. I'm all about natural medicine.
Teach, Learn, Share
Todo el mundo puede ensenarte algo si les dejas.
Everyone has the power to teach you if you let them.
I’m always willing to learn about a new subject- I love it when people are passionate about a topic, it makes it more interesting. My passions are (in no specific order) gender studies, body piercings/tattoos, and human rights. I want to hear about your amazing experiences.
