ABOUT ME

My name is Dave, I started this account with my brother when we lived together in Felton, CA. Since that time I have not had a permanent home. I have been bouncing around states, and farms.

I am currently taking a cross country road trip with my girlfriend Julie and we are about to head to Galt, CA outside of Sacremento. We are going to be living and working together at a little Horse and Goat Ranch.

I am a open person, that wears my hear on his sleeve. I am responsible and treat this website and the people on this site with absolute respect. Thank you all that make this possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The biggest reason why we are putting our house up for people to stay at is because of the kindness others have shown to us through our travels across the world. I have met so many kind souls with warm beds, and would love to share that with anyone in need.

Plus we feel that the people that use this website to travel are probably really good people and would very much be worth meeting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to travel since becoming a couch surfing host, but as of Jan 2010 I have hosted five groups of people. Everyone that I have met through here has been truly and honestly good people, and so unique and different from one another it has really given me some hope for the world.

Hosting has been a real pleasure and I look forward to more people coming through town, and also using this site when i travel next.

I am really into Tom Robbins and would have to say Still Life is my favorite book. Here are some other authors: Chomsky, Shiva, Derrick Jensen, Palaniuck, Vonnegut, Salanger, Melville, Orwell, Pynchon, and did i mention Chomsky. As for movies, here is one that not a lot of people say that makes my top five: Cool Hand Luke.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I biked across colorado, camping along the way. I was in tears about 4 hours into the trip. It was intense, big, happy, sad and tremendous. I am so proud of myself for doing that.

I will teach you to make strawberry jam, hemp bracelets, how to set up worm composting, and spanish if your interested. If not andy will teach you bike maintenance, indoor goalkeeping, energy conservation... if that doesnt work, just spend a few minutes with bobby and you will feel smarter... he is in grad school by the way getting his Ph.D. in Psychology.
