About Me
A writer, performer, and activist looking to learn more about people, humanity, and hospitality. I've been in Minneapolis for 8 years and absolutely love this city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I took a trip around the world and life would have been extremely difficult had it not been for the hospitality of some amazing strangers. I'd like to repay the favor and meet people in the process.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll listen to or read just about anything. I have a particular weakness for Harry Potter, Chuck Palahniuk, and religious non-fiction. Love documentaries, OITNB, Firefly, The Big Lebowski... lots of stuff, I guess.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Accidentally took a trip around the world. That's not a typo. I actually replaced Pittsburgh with Abu Dhabi as a destination among a series of other countries and inadvertently circumnavigated the globe on my first major trip overseas.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can be a fantastic Minneapolis tour guide, maybe teach a few chords on guitar (I own 3, though only 2 are currently functional), and love to cook for people. I also have a lot to learn in both guitar and cooking, though I promise not to do either if they don't appeal to you. By the same token, if you have any input, I'm a gracious and eager student.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, booze, couch or bed - whichever you prefer, I'll take the other. I also have an inflatable twin mattress.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Philippines, Scotland, United Arab Emirates
