About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living life and enjoying the people I meet along the way. There's nothing more important in life than friends.
ABOUT ME
The definition of easy going, my M.O. in life is enjoy life and people around me. I've been known to climb a rock, jump off a dock, and ignore the clock when the good times come around.
I love people. I love to study people, in a conversation or from a distance. It helps me understand myself and be humble and kind.
I've recently come to the realization that anything can be accomplished. The hard part is figuring out what to do!
PHILOSOPHY
Every event in life is an opportunity to learn something new...we don't make mistakes, we have learning experiences...
Doing the best that you possibly can always leaves you without doubt or insecurity.
If you see that you can have a positive impact on someone else, do it.
If you give everything, you get everything...in that order.
Think that you might be wrong.
Good food + good drink + great people = the good life
There are two guaranteed ways to become better looking. Smile and ride a bike.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed a few times and co-hosted some surfers with my roommate.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed a few times to help me figure out houston and where I wanted to live. When I moved here I surfed with a guy who became my roommate and good friend. I probably owe him a beer by now!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have:
set foot on nearly every mile of Louisiana's coastline
been camping in 110 degree heat
seen the sun rise and set and then rise again
bathed in the gulf of mexico 60 miles from solid ground
swam with aligators
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a geoscientist, so anything connected to the natural world calls my attention. I can teach you how to identify fossils, figure out what a particular rock is made of, or why the ice ages are over. Be warned, I'll geek out and you won't be able to stop me...I spent a few years studying eastern philosophy, meditation and yoga and always to learn more. I am a musician, and have played guitar for 13 years, and will sing along until it hurts.
