About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To overdose on travel and caffiene (not particularly in that order)

ABOUT ME

In a nutshell: I'm a culturally-confused coffee addict, who's always up for meeting new people over good food or drinks.

In a bigger nutshell:

HISTORY
I was born in Hong Kong, grew up in Australia, lived in Singapore, studied in London, and worked in Shanghai. Moving from place to place has given me the habit of making friends where-ever I go.

INTERESTS
Coffee - Caffeine. Enough said.
Food - Like any Asian, I'm a sucker for food and drink. Whether its golden fish and chips from a hole in the wall or a perfectly tender slow cooked pot roast. If there's good food, I'm there.
Media - I'm a self-confessed geek, who reads an unhealthy amount (I just finished a book about a telepathic gorilla), which I balance out with an equally unhealthy dose of TV (ie. Good Wife, Touch, Community).
Sport - I enjoy most sports, but have stuck to playing tennis regularly. Something about hitting a small bright green ball back and forth over a net just makes it so damn fun.

PERSONALITY
My friends say that I'm slightly on the weird side, but I assure its all good. I'm friendly, sociable, easy going (I think its a rule when a part of you is Australian). I enjoy a quiet movie night on the couch just as much as getting to know the nightlife. In the end, it is the company that matters.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to worry about being normal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The thing that surprises people most is that I used to be a national wakeboarder (a sport similar to surfing, but instead of surfing on natural waves, you are dragged by a speed boat).
Used to train thrice a week and competed nationally both in Hong Kong and Singapore. But then I went to Australia and learnt to be lazy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn get another language under my belt. Maybe Japanese or French (both of which I learnt a bit in school). Also think that more people should learn sign language, cause those who don't have the privilege to speak have too little people to talk to.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Romania, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
